I have to say that the process started out promising. Filled out the online paperwork in about 10 minutes and was talking to a doctor about 10 minutes later. The conversation with him lasted about 5 minutes but then this is where it went down hill. Now all of this was for a basic sinus infection.
He indicated that the rx would be called in and should be ready in an hour. Two hours later I went to the pharmacy and they had no idea what I was talking about. Call support and finally got a call back in another two hours that it was called in. Went back to pharmacy and he had called in some special extended release antibiotic which they didnt stock. So I transferred it to another pharmacy which finally filled it at 9:00 pm (about 9 hours later). But wait for it. This was a $90 rx. So I waited until morning and called support again. Told them that the doctor needed to call in a reasonable rx. So a couple hours later I got a call saying it had been called in. This time I arrived at the pharmacy and they had called in a $70 rx. Really for a sinus infection?? There are plenty the Meijer will give for free and plenty more that you can get for less than $10 even without insurance. But the above prices were after my insurance covered their part. Crazy!!!
