MDLIVE App Reviews

Dont bother

Dont bother using this youll only end up paying $50 and then send on to an urgent care. They say they treat UTIs but evidently not in pediatric patients wouldve been nice to know.

Buggy

App is extremely buggy. The most annoying is getting a message notification but then another notification immediately after saying, "Sorry, this message is not for you".

App is extremely buggy

Constantly logs you out. Does not let you update prescriptions. Other than that, the service from the providers has been swift and good. This app is good for non emergencies but if you think there is something wrong with you that needs immediate attention, go to an urgent care or ER.

Junk

Total junk. Dont waste your time, if you werent sick before trying to use this app-- you will be after.

Very disappointed

Tried to use the video consulting feature because I had an swollen eyelid and wanted a physician to look at it. My credit card was charged $50 in advance. Waited 15 minutes in front of my phone screen and the doctor did not connect. Got a call 30 minutes later asking if its was OK to have a phone consultation instead of a video consultation. I said no and I canceled the consultation. They told me that my credit card would get refunded in a month.

Great service

Amazing service. My son woke up with pink eye Sunday morning and we did a video call with a pediatrician before 8:30 am and his prescription was ready before lunch!

Most Useless Service Ever

Dont waste your money. Most useless service ever they cant prescribe anything at all. Theyll take your money and refer you to a REAL doctor.

Nice useful app!

It is responsive, stable and the symptom checker section contains a useful information though I think it can be expanded. Though I havent used a video conferencing, I am eager to try it in the future.

Great App!

This is a very helpful and nicely designed app! You are able to connect with a doctor quickly and smoothly and it also allows you to have all of your medial information in the palm of your hand!

Amazing

Great app. Able to get a doctors appt and prescription all through my iPhone. Lifesaver.

So thankful for MDLIVE!

I was feeling really under the weather with a heavy cough and terrible sinus pressure on a weekend trip. I kept getting progressively worse and my friend thankfully recommended that I called MDLIVE. It was unbelievable! I was able to have a doctors appointment within 10 minutes from my car while on the Interstate, get diagnosed and pick up my prescription for a Z-pak when I got off my home exit!! It was amazing! Im going to tell everyone to use MDLIVE. I felt better by the morning and didnt have to miss work to go to the doctor. Thank you, thank you!

Doesnt work

App doesnt do what it claims to do.

Did not work

I was told a medical doctor was reviewing my records and she would be seeing me right away. 17 minutes later I couldnt wait any longer and left the app. I hope my credit card was not charged.

Great App!

Awesome app very user friendly and useful to people who want access to care and health information 24/7.

I love it!

Getting prescriptions or a doctors opinion has always been a hassle. This app saved me so much time.

Didnt leave the beach

My son had swimmers ear while on vacation. We had no drops with us. My wife was able to set up a consult have drop sent to CVS all in under an hour.

Whats the point?

My insurance covers us to use this feature but what is the point if they just respond back telling you to go ask your regular doctor. What is the point of this app? Yes I know I may need to follow up with doctor but you cant give your medical opinion or advice in the meantime? Wow.

Nice App Horrible Service

I have to say that the process started out promising. Filled out the online paperwork in about 10 minutes and was talking to a doctor about 10 minutes later. The conversation with him lasted about 5 minutes but then this is where it went down hill. Now all of this was for a basic sinus infection. He indicated that the rx would be called in and should be ready in an hour. Two hours later I went to the pharmacy and they had no idea what I was talking about. Call support and finally got a call back in another two hours that it was called in. Went back to pharmacy and he had called in some special extended release antibiotic which they didnt stock. So I transferred it to another pharmacy which finally filled it at 9:00 pm (about 9 hours later). But wait for it. This was a $90 rx. So I waited until morning and called support again. Told them that the doctor needed to call in a reasonable rx. So a couple hours later I got a call saying it had been called in. This time I arrived at the pharmacy and they had called in a $70 rx. Really for a sinus infection?? There are plenty the Meijer will give for free and plenty more that you can get for less than $10 even without insurance. But the above prices were after my insurance covered their part. Crazy!!!

The greatest!

This app goes along with the "Walgreens" app so if you have that than you have this. This is a great thing though. If you cant go to the dr then you have them right at your fingertips what is better than that.

terms of use impossible to read

I wanted to give up when I saw that the terms of use are impossible to read on my phone - it seems pretty basic to change the layout so that I could read it on the app given this IS an app. but I didnt, then I spoke to their support and found out that to do video you have to download a separate app. I mean, guys, come on. then I just paid my $49 for an immediate video chat and I give up after 20 minutes waiting!
